Joseph’s Goal is committed to complying with the principles set out in the GDPR and has a legal duty to protect any information we collect from you. Joseph’s Goal is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. When you provide information by which you can be identified when making a donation, then you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with this privacy statement. If you choose to remain anonymous the Charity will not be able to apply for Gift Aid on your donation but will still add the donation to the Charity’s accounts to comply with it’s legal requirements.

Joseph’s Goal may change this policy from time to time by updating this page. You should check this page periodically to ensure you are familiar with any changes.

What we collect

We may collect the following information:

Full name and title.

Home address and post code ( where the donation is to be Gift Aided ).

Telephone number.

Email address.

Banking details – where appropriate, particularly in the event of winning a prize in the Joeph’s Goal Elite Club Lottery.

How we collect information

We collect information from a number of sources

Donation Reports from online platforms primarily Just Giving website ( see below Links to other websites ).

Direct Transfer of funds to Joseph’s Goal Bank Account.

Personal donations presented or sent to the Charity’s Officials.

Information sent directly by the donor.

What we do with the information we gather

Joseph’s Goal will not share your information with any commercial organisation and will not use your information for marketing or promotional purposes unless you specifically ask us in writing to share your information for these purposes.

The legal basis that we rely on for processing your data will depend upon the circumstances in which it is being collected and used and will fall into one of two categories –

where the processing is necessary for us to comply with a legal obligation; or

where it is in our legitimate interests to perform our functions, for example, processing donations to raise funds and to deliver our Charity’s objectives.

We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure.

To prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect.

Our website has links to donation giving websites. When you use these links, you should note that we do not have any control over that other website. Therefore we cannot be responsible for the protection and privacy of any information which you provide whilst visiting such sites and they are not governed by this privacy statement.
